The capital of Iran is a metropolis called Tehran with a population of over eight million people. Historic dating along with the importance of the ancient political and cultural diversity of the city has created many old and new tourist attractions. Places of interest in Tehran includes Golestan Palace, Niavaran Palace, Saad Abad Palace, Tehran Great Market (Bazar), Milad Tower, Tehran Nature Bridge, Azadi Tower and many museums. Tehran has also Entertainment Venues such as Tochal Ski Resort, Shemshak Ski Resort, Vashi Strait and many other (touristic) places.
