QAZVIN

Qazvin, the capital of Iran during the Safavid rule, is considered one of the most prominent cities of Iran due to its museums, churches, old markets and numerous monuments. Many of Qazvin’s historical monuments return to the era where the city was the capital of the Safavid rule, which lasted about 50 years. The most important places in Qazvin are the Safavid gardens, Sepeh Street, Qazvin Market, houses and manor houses with beautiful architecture such as Behroozi house, Yazdi house, Raufi’s house and many other mansions. The beautiful Alamut area in Qazvin province has numerous historic castles including Hassan Sabah (Assassin), amazing caves, beautiful Evan Lake and natural scenery embracing tourists.

Old mosques like Qazvin Mosque and Imam Zadeh Hussein, old churches like the Cantor Church, are among the historical religious sites of the city. The old gates of the city of Qazvin, like the doors of the castle, have a unique beauty. The traditional and old baths are also part of the city’s historic texture, the most famous of which are the Qajar Bath, the Blur Bath and Safa Bath.

Qazvin has a very beautiful nature along with historical texture and cultural centers. Among the tourist attractions of this city are the traditional Mullah Khalila Park and Barajin Forest Park. There are also intact natural places around the city to be discovered.
